5 tips to stay organized over the Holidays

The Holidays are right around the corner. As much as we all need a little joy and merriness, let’s be honest the Holidays can be a bit hectic trying to manage all of the festivities. Don’t worry we got your back with all the tips on how to stay organized, have fun,  and manage stress this Holiday season.

  1. Choose your priorities

There are going to be so many opportunities to connect with people and so many fun Fall activities you may want to participate. How do you do them all? You don’t! Sit down with your family and figure out what are the top parties, events, and activities that everyone wants to go to. Maybe let each family member pick out their top two. Once you have this list, you now know what are the ones that are priorities and you fit those into your schedule and everything else you can decide to go to it if it works out. Saying no is hard but it is necessary!

  1. Simplify Holiday Card Sending

Have you automated your contact list, or do you start over each year? Open excel and create an easy spreadsheet with columns for first name, last name, address, city, state, and zip. Once you have this, each year all you have to do is add any new loved ones to the list and you can use this to make mailing labels with ease.

  1. Santa Shouldn’t Be The Only One With A List

We know it is so tempting to go into Target and just browse for hours. However, we promise that cracking open a notebook and making a list will pay off in the long run. We have had that awkward moment when your second cousin shows up for Christmas and you totally forgot to grab her a present – be better than us!

  1. Stock Up On Hostess Gifts

After not being able to celebrate like normal last year, we are sure the party invitations are rolling in and if you are like us you were taught to never come to a party empty handed. Pro Tip from our Founder Jasmin is that she stocks up on her favorite bottles of wine and keeps them in her cabinet. That way when she remembers last minute she has a party to go to she can just grab a bottle of wine and show up stress free. Wine is a gift that never disappoints

  1. Remember Your Why

Yes, we know there is pressure to make the best mac and cheese so you don’t get banned from cooking at future functions and to have your outfit together to watch Mariah sing at Macy’s Parade. However, make sure you are taking some time to reflect and remember the reason for the season. Try to carve out sometime where you can really enjoy your family and friends, and remember why you are gathered around to celebrate your blessings.

We hope these tips were helpful. Feel free to leave a note with any tips you have for managing your Holiday season.
